What is Total Ministry?

In 2020, our committee structure necessarily froze to accommodate crisis mode through the Covid pandemic. As a result, we have observed three unsustainable trends:

1. The ministry that is being done falls on fewer shoulders leading to burnout
2. Many important ministries of the past have not returned
3. The visioning and spiritual gift resources of our congregation are going unused which is a detriment to the church and each of us

The Church Council has decided to abandon the old committee structure and introduce the more open approach of ministry teams called “Total Ministry.” This approach focuses less on the control of committees and more on the freedom and flexibility for everyone to get involved.
