We find our identity flowing from the waters of Baptism. In the waters of baptism, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness, we are called to grow in the Christian faith, and we are given new life. Washed clean and forgiven, we are set free to boldly live in Christ.
We are here to grow. We are here to grow as individuals… to learn more about our Christian faith, do grow closer to God as disciples of Jesus Christ, and to grow in the ways we serve. We are here to grow as a congregation… as we welcome new members into our Faith Family and to better proclaim the Good News of God’s grace through Word and Sacrament.
In our baptism, we are called, claimed, and sent to live boldly in God’s amazing grace. The freedom we receive through forgiveness is not freedom from, but freedom for… we are freed to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Luke 10:27).
